One of the services offered is to put companies
in touch with outsourced payroll administrators.
There has been a marked rise for this service
since the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley
legislation in USA. The "Compandben
International Payroll Network" has been
developed over the last 5 years and there are
now "Payroll Partners" in over 100 countries.
Compandben clients have 180 payrolls running in
over 60 countries. In addition Compandben has a
network of "Employment Services Providers" in 25
countries. These companies employ staff and put
them at the disposition of the client. This is
useful when clients do not want to set up any
kind of registration or "presence" in a country
till they have tested the market.
The typical client is a British or American
company, with one or two new employees in a
country, doing sales, product support or
marketing. They usually initially do not have
limited companies or branches set up in the
country into which they are expanding. At the
same time they want the employees paid
correctly with social charges deducted etc. The
countries in the "Payroll Network" obviously
include UK and USA!
